           Fairytales in Denmark
When we in Denmark want to tell or read a story, there will be many genres to choose among: fairytales, narratives, tales, myths, legends, accounts etc. It varies a lot how much facts and fictions each story contains.
The Danes link the concept of fairytales to the greatest and most famous poet ever
     Hans Christian Andersen (2 April 1805 – 4 August 1875)

  Fairytales:

Clumsy Hans (Klods-Hans)  (a comment to the story)

The Emperor's New Clothes (Keiserens nye Klæder)

The Princess on the Pea (Prindsessen paa Ærten)
